Seal Hunt protest

During the annual seal hunt on the ice floes off the Atlantic coast of Canada, 330,000 seals this year alone —mostly babies only weeks old — will be brutally clubbed into submission and skinned, many while still alive and gazing up in agony at their sadistic assailants.

We have the opportunity to do the animal rights movement and the cause of compassion proud. Let’s have a spectacular showing at a demonstration in downtown Detroit to protest the annual Canadian seal slaughter. Make plans to attend, and forward this information on to any contacts who might also be interested. Together, we can make a difference.

Date: April 9th

Time: Noon - 2:00 pm

Location: Meet in front of the Old Mariners Church outside the entrance/exit to the Detroit-Canada Tunnel

Contact:   darryl_braun@yahoo.com about the demonstration

Contact martians@umich.edu if you need / can provide transportation.
