Ann Arbor dog needs home

On Christmas eve, one of our members found a dog chained outside in Ann Arbor:

“Last night I discovered a red retriever mix who had been left chained outside an abandoned house in Ann Arbor. This morning we went back there and were able to get more information: The owner is dieing of cancer and the house is in foreclosure. The owner’s brother stops by occasionally to feed the dog, but does not do a good job. The owner would be very happy to get the dog a new home. He is a really nice dog. Energetic and likes to go for walks. I believe today the dog has been moved to a backyard as a foster home.”
